Teamwork

A basketball team in Canada was losing games.  Revenues were down and so the manager decided to trade the two best players.  The remaining players found themselves in a predicament.  They had to pull together to make up the difference.  The result?  They started winning games.  The lesson?

When we rely on just a few star players to get results, we will end up losing in the end.  We have to work together as a body and see and what we can do for the team.

No Excuse For Losing Your Temper

Is it alright to blow up once in a while on someone, knowing that you can fix it or just make up later?  Consider the example of a car.  Is it considered fine to blow a tire once in a while, just because you have a spare?  It's no different when it comes to controlling your temper.

Fear of God

Fear of God is like the brakes in your car.  When danger is ahead, you apply the brakes.  It keeps you from encountering dangerous objects in the road of life.  It keeps you safe.

Kindness

In Africa, a doctor was talking to someone with leprosy through a translator.  He was telling him what medical procedure he was going to prescribe.  When the translator finished relating this, the man with leprosy started crying.  The doctor inquired if there was something wrong with the procedure.  He said it was nothing to do with the procedure, it was that while telling him what he was going to do, the doctor put his arm around the leper.  No one had touched him in years.

Adversity is like manure...

It stinks, but it makes you grow.

Creation and Logic

When driving along a road, you observe that everyone is following those laws.  Oddly enough, no one has personally met the person who put those laws in place.  However everyone obeys them because they know them and know there must be a power and intelligence behind them.  Same with creation.  There are countless laws that are established in the universe.  Logic demands that there must be a power and intelligence behind them.

THE 6 TRUTHS OF LIFE

1. You cannot touch all your teeth with your tongue.
2. All idiots, after reading the first truth try it.
3. The first truth is a lie.
4. You're smiling now because you're an idiot.
5. You soon will forward this to another idiot.
6. There's still a stupid smile on your face.
